How it works
Vietnamese marks how you feel about a cause. Nhờ = 'thanks to' (positive): Nhờ anh giúp, tôi đã xong 'Thanks to your help, I finished'. Tại / tại vì = 'because of, it's the fault of' (negative, blaming): Tại anh mà em muộn 'It's your fault I'm late'. Do = 'due to' (neutral, formal): Chuyến bay bị hủy do thời tiết xấu. Mistake: nhờ for bad causes (nhờ mưa mà tắc đường sounds sarcastic).
