How it works
Nào 'which' always FOLLOWS the noun or classifier: quyển sách nào 'which book', cái nào 'which one', người nào 'which person'. Like other question words it stays in the answer's position. Common fixed phrases: bao giờ / khi nào 'when', thế nào 'how', nước nào 'which country'. Mistake: putting nào before the noun (nào sách) as in English 'which book'. Answer by replacing nào with này/kia or a description: Cái này.
