How it works
Dù + question word + cũng gives 'no matter…': Dù thế nào tôi cũng sẽ đi 'No matter what, I'll go'; Dù ai nói gì 'whatever anyone says'. Dù có… cũng: Dù có mưa, trận đấu cũng diễn ra 'Even if it rains, the match goes ahead'. Dù sao (thì) / dù sao đi nữa = 'anyway, in any case'. Cũng is required in the main clause. Mistake: using nhưng instead of cũng here (dù thế nào nhưng ✗).
