How it works
Tự before a verb = 'by oneself / self-': tự nấu ăn 'cook for oneself', tự học 'self-study'. For a reflexive object, use mình or bản thân: Anh ấy tự trách mình 'He blames himself'; tự giới thiệu bản thân. Nhau AFTER a verb = 'each other': yêu nhau 'love each other', giúp nhau 'help each other'; với nhau 'with each other'. Mistake: putting nhau before the verb (nhau yêu ✗) or using tự for 'each other'.
