How it works
Trong khi 'while' links two actions at the same time: Trong khi mẹ nấu cơm, con làm bài tập 'While Mum cooks, the child does homework'. It also contrasts: Anh ấy làm việc chăm chỉ, trong khi em trai thì lười 'He works hard, whereas his brother is lazy'. Đang often appears in the clause. Shorter: trong lúc. With a noun: trong + N: trong bữa ăn 'during the meal'. Mistake: trong khi + noun (trong khi bữa ăn ✗).
