Initial NG — the sound English only has at the end

NG at the START of a word is hard for most learners because English only has it at the end, as in SING.

Practice trick: say SINGER slowly, then remove the SI. What remains is the Vietnamese NG.

NGH is the same sound, spelled differently before I, E and Ê.
